4:00 p.m. – Walking Home
Today as I was walking home, I passed a stone fountain. As I approached the fountain, I noticed something leaking. But it wasn’t the fountain. A little boy had just dropped his pants and began using a nearby tree to take a leak. – J.H.

11:15 a.m. – In the Cafeteria
I was talking to my friends during lunch about how excited I am to be finally finished with my work. As I jumped up in excitement, my bag suddenly fell to the floor with a thud. The strap had ripped in half. – G.L.

8:30 a.m. – Art Class
During art class, I took a few bottles to the outdoor roof to shoot photos for my still life painting. I walked my bottles over and set them up for photos, and just as I was about to start taking photos, I heard a shrill scream. It came from one of the girls sitting by the glass windows all the way across the roof. She yelled, “OH MY GOD WHAT IS HE DOING? WHY IS HE TAKING PHOTOS OF US!?” Soon after, the girls ran away in fright and guilt (I have no idea why). I was just taking photographs of my bottles; I actually tried to get them out of my picture to get cleaner compositions for the photos. – J.H.

7:30 a.m. – Walking to School
Today I was walking to school with a huge crowd of little people walking behind me. All of a sudden, my flip flops got caught on a microscopic ledge in the cement floor, and I stumbled. I almost fell, but thankfully, I regained my balance a few inches from the ground. The people behind me were amused. I kept on walking, with the same crowd behind me, when all of a sudden, all the papers in my English binder flew out and fell scattered onto the floor. Once again, the pedestrian traffic behind me had to wait as I painfully gathered my papers. And then I started walking again. – E.L.
