Hey, I’m Ivan. My friends associate me with the word “AWKWARD.” In all caps.
A little bit about me. I am a student from Taipei, Taiwan. There is a lot I can say, but for now, I shall just tell you about my academic interests. Writing. I work for the school newspaper and attend nationally-recognized summer journalism programs in the States almost every year. Design. In my spare time, I learn principles of design on my own, and practice my skills with little activities such as creating Facebook bumper stickers. As an avid writer and fledgling designer, it is only logical that I create my own blog.
In addition to that short introduction, I would also like to take the time to introduce to you a new phrase several friends and I coined. Awkward My Life, or AML for short. It is generally used to describe any situation in which a person experiences severe awkwardness to the point in which he or she feels uneasy. Needless to say, those moments are rare, but when you do happen to stumble upon one of them, that experience becomes an instant classic. Awkward My Life stories will make up the bulk of my blog entries (hence the title), with funny/weird/creepy stories as supplements. As for the header saying “OOK you,” well, that is a secret reserved only for a very select few.
